Mix: An Introduction to New Artists #14

Here's another batch of new bands who've made themselves known to me over the last few days!

Tujacques  http://tujacques.bandcamp.com/

Tujacques are based in Dublin, Ireland and their music is tagged as alternative with twists of punk, gospel, Americana, roots and alt.country. The musicians of Tujacques (pronounced 'two-jacks') include Matthew Causey, originally from Louisiana, on guitar, keyboards and vocals. Matthew Nolan, who is co-founder, composer and guitarist for Dublin’s 3epkano, plays bass. Bryan 0’Connell of Si Schroeder fame plays drums and singer-songwriter Rhiannon Clark, adds backing vocals. The band are lauching the album at the Workman's Club on 12 July.

This song is amazing!

ShoBiz http://www.facebook.com/ShoBiz

Shola 'ShoBiz' Quadri is an Irish hiphop artist from Dublin. While hiphop isn't my thing ShoBiz is getting the right type of attention and could be massive!

This Nachez http://www.facebook.com/thisnachez

This Nachez are a Hard Rock/ Metal band from Galway comprising of Stephen Monaghan - Guitar/Vox, Dave Donoghue - Bass and brothers Fiachra and Eimhin Cradock - Guitar and Drums who are not only trying to make it in Ireland but are releasing material in Eastern Europe. Listen to their current single here:

Princess http://thatsoprincess.bandcamp.com/

The final band in this mix is Dublin alternative band 'Princess'. Their fuzzy electric sound harks back to Dinosaur Jr. days which isn't a bad thing in my book!
